Ethan & Brooke
Deer Ridge Wedding
Ethan and Brooke's wedding day at Deer Ridge in Lexington was truly one for the books. After keeping an eye on the forecast leading up to the big day, they were blessed with absolutely beautiful weather that couldn't have been more perfect for celebrating with family and friends.
From the moment the day began, there was an overwhelming sense of joy and excitement in the air. Surrounded by their loved ones, Ethan and Brooke exchanged heartfelt vows and officially began their next chapter together as husband and wife. Every detail came together beautifully, creating a day that was both elegant and deeply meaningful.
One of the highlights of the day was the stunning Deer Ridge property itself. The venue provided a gorgeous backdrop for every part of the celebration, and the beautiful suite located in the building behind the venue was the perfect place for the couple to relax and prepare for their wedding day. Every space was thoughtfully designed and made for incredible photographs throughout the day.
As if the day couldn't get any better, the evening ended with the most beautiful golden hour glow. The warm sunlight created a dreamy backdrop for portraits of Ethan and Brooke, giving us some of our favorite images from the entire day. There is something so special about those quiet moments together as newlyweds while the sun sets on such an unforgettable day.
Ethan and Brooke's love for one another was evident in every smile, every glance, and every moment they shared together. It was an honor to capture the memories, emotions, and details that made their wedding day uniquely theirs.
Ethan and Brooke, thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a special day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness as you begin this new adventure together.

Daniel & Natalie
Palace Event Center Wedding
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to second shoot a beautiful wedding for Daniel and Natalie at Palace Event Center in Iowa. I was assisting the incredibly talented Madisen Paulson, whom I have had the pleasure of working alongside before. Madisen is truly magical behind the camera and does an amazing job helping brides navigate and enjoy their wedding day with confidence and ease.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was going to be a special day. Natalie was an absolute ray of sunshine. She had the biggest smile on her face all day long, and her joy was contagious. Watching her and Daniel celebrate with their family and friends was such a wonderful reminder of why I love wedding photography.
The weather could not have been more perfect. May weddings have a special place in my heart, and this day was no exception. The warm sunshine, blooming spring landscape, and comfortable temperatures created the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful celebration.
Over the past several years, I've had the opportunity to photograph and second shoot numerous weddings throughout the area. One of my favorite things about this industry is the chance to collaborate with other talented local photographers while helping couples preserve some of the most important memories of their lives. Every wedding is unique, and I always leave feeling grateful to have played a small part in documenting such a meaningful day.
Congratulations again to Daniel and Natalie! Thank you for allowing us to capture your wedding day. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and many happy memories together.
Oregon Retreat
Coastal Couples 🌊
If you had asked me a few years ago what was something I never thought I would experience, this would have been at the top of the list. I have always dreamed of traveling around the country—especially somewhere along the Oregon coast—but I never imagined I would one day travel there to photograph such incredible moments.
In March, I had the opportunity to attend a three-day photography retreat in Neskowin, Oregon alongside photographers from around the world. Throughout the retreat, we photographed a variety of sessions ranging from casual couples to breathtaking elopement-inspired shoots featuring professional models. Oregon itself was absolutely stunning. Even with the cloudy weather, the coastline and cliffs created the dreamiest backdrop and photographed beautifully.
Every shoot during this retreat felt special in its own way, but my favorite was Luke and Ashlyn’s elopement-style session with the horses. Growing up riding horses myself, this shoot felt especially meaningful and close to home for me. I also loved our sunrise session with Maggie and Jacob on the beach—the soft light, ocean air, and quietness of the morning made it unforgettable.
More than anything, this retreat reminded me how meaningful photography can be. Not only did I get to capture beautiful moments in one of the most incredible places I’ve visited, but I also formed friendships and memories that I know I’ll carry with me for a very long time.
Delaney
Tulip Farm 🌷
There’s something special about photographing people who feel like home 🤍
This tulip farm session at Nelson Produce Farm was with Delaney—someone I met back in college and have had the joy of creating with ever since. We’ve done so many shoots together over the years, and every time feels just as easy and fun as the first.
It was one of those cold, windy spring days where you question your life choices for about five minutes—but the kind that ends up being completely worth it. We wandered through rows of tulips, picked fresh blooms, and embraced the chaos of the wind, which somehow made everything feel even more alive.
Moments like this remind me why I love photography so much—not just for the images, but for the people, the memories, and the quiet in-between moments that turn into something beautiful. 🌷
Lyla
The Tassle is Worth the Hassle 🥳
I had the best time photographing Lyla for her December senior session on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus. Lyla recently graduated from UNL in the engineering department and is already planning her next chapter as she heads into graduate school to pursue her master’s degree—such an exciting accomplishment!
From the start, Lyla came prepared with so many fun and creative ideas, which made the session feel effortless and personal. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny day on campus, and the light could not have been more perfect. Between the classic UNL locations and Lyla’s natural confidence, everything came together seamlessly.
What I loved most about this session was capturing a moment of transition—celebrating how far Lyla has come while looking ahead to everything she’s about to accomplish. Her determination and positive energy truly shined through every image.
Congratulations again to Lyla on graduating and taking the next step toward her future. It was such an honor to be part of this milestone!
A kearney love story 💍
This wedding was such a special one for me to photograph. Teagen isn’t just another bride—she’s a dear friend I met back at UNK when I was a sophomore. We became close during college and have stayed in touch ever since, so being there to capture her and Austin’s big day felt incredibly full-circle.
Teagen and Austin’s love story started back in high school, and after six years together, they finally tied the knot in the sweetest, most intimate ceremony in Kearney, Nebraska. Surrounded by their families, they exchanged vows filled with joy, laughter, and the kind of love that just radiates.
After their ceremony, we spent time capturing family photos and then wandered around for some couples portraits—those quiet, joyful moments that felt so perfectly them. It was such a fun afternoon catching up, reminiscing about old college memories, and seeing how happy they are together after all these years.
It’s such an honor to photograph love stories, but it’s an even greater honor when it’s for someone you’ve known and cherished as a friend. Teagen and Austin, thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful day—I couldn’t be happier for you both!
Meredith
Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice | 🍂📸
Next up is Meredith — again! I absolutely love doing photos with her. She’s such a gem and truly one of my favorite people to shoot with. Not only does she have an amazing sense of style, but she also brings the best energy to every session. She makes my job so easy!
For this shoot, Meredith reached out wanting to capture some cozy fall vibes with the colorful leaves. We decided on Elmwood Park, and it ended up being the perfect choice. The weather was beautiful, the light was golden, and the evening couldn’t have been more fun.
We laughed, giggled, and frolicked our way through the whole session — honestly, it felt more like a hangout than work (which is always the best kind of shoot!). This session made me fall in love with fall photos all over again. 🍁
Love you, girl — can’t wait to create more photo magic together in the future! 💛
marissa
Royal Senior | At the Castle 👑✨
Next up is Marissa! I absolutely loved this senior session — it was full of style, creativity, and sweet personal touches. Marissa and her mom came prepared with such a beautiful vision, and we had the best time bringing it to life.
We started the session at Joslyn Castle, where Marissa looked like royalty. She even wore her mother’s wedding dress for part of the shoot — how special is that? It added such a sentimental and elegant touch to the day.
We then explored the stunning greenery at the OPPD Arboretum and wrapped up near a peaceful lake in the Regency area. Marissa’s long curly hair, natural confidence, and eye for style made her such a dream to photograph. These are truly some of my favorite senior photos to look back on. 💫
Rachel & Bailey
Bailey & Rachel | Fall Cousin Session | Elmwood Park 🍂
Next up is Bailey and Rachel! I met Rachel through a mutual friend at the Newman Center, and she’s truly one of the sweetest people I’ve had the chance to work with — not to mention, a total natural in front of the camera!
She brought her cousin Bailey along for a cozy fall photo session at Elmwood Park, and these two made it such a fun shoot. I loved their coordinating sweaters, the colorful leaves on the ground, and the soft golden light filtering through the trees.
Fall sessions have my heart, and this one was no exception! 🧡
Delaney & Daisy
Bestie Session | Downtown Omaha ☀️
This session was such a blast! Delaney and her best friend Daisy met me downtown on a hot summer evening, and despite the heat, we had so much fun. The bright colors they wore perfectly matched their vibrant energy — we frolicked, giggled, and soaked up every last bit of sunshine (even though the sun had us racing against time).
I always have the best time photographing friends, and this session reminded me just how special it is to capture the joy between people who love each other so deeply. 💛
Spitsnogle family
The Spitsnogle Family | Fall Family Fun 🍂
I’ve known Missy since I was little — she’s been doing my mom’s hair for years and has worked her magic on mine more than a few times too! She’s always been the sweetest, so when she asked me to photograph her family, I was honored to be part of something so special.
Her parents and sister joined in for the session, and we caught the most beautiful golden hour light at Pioneers Park Nature Center in Lincoln. The park was bustling that evening, but we found the perfect little pocket of peace to capture these moments.
For those who know me, I don’t do families super often — but this session reminded me how much joy they can bring. From the perfectly coordinated outfits to the laughter and genuine smiles, this one was such a treat to capture.
Emma
EMMA’S NURSING SCHOOL GRAD SESSION | DOWNTOWN OMAHA CELEBRATION 🥳
From UNK sorority sisters to graduation day memories—Emma’s session was such a full-circle moment for me! I met Emma during our sophomore year of college at the University of Nebraska Kearney. She was one of the first friends I made in my sorority, and I’ve adored her sweet, stylish energy ever since. So when she reached out to have me capture her nursing school graduation photos, I couldn’t say “yes” fast enough!
We met up at the Douglas County Courthouse in downtown Omaha, where Emma brought her signature style, a killer smile, and her best friend Jessica for support (and hype). The whole session was a blast—we laughed, twirled around the columns, and popped champagne to celebrate her huge accomplishment.
Emma, you are going to do amazing things in this next chapter, and I’m so grateful I got to celebrate this milestone with you. Nurses like you are truly something special!
Content Day at Commonspace Studio 📸
This past content day at Commonspace Studio in Lincoln, NE was exactly what my creative heart needed! A group of talented local photographers (myself included!) gathered together to photograph some absolutely stunning models in a dreamy indoor space filled with natural light and endless photo ops.
What made this day so special wasn’t just the beautiful photos we got to take—it was the energy in the room. No pressure, no expectations, just creatives coming together to experiment, share ideas, and have fun. Getting to connect with other photographers in the area was such a refreshing reminder of the amazing community we’re part of.
This won’t be my last content day—that’s for sure. Already counting down to the next one!
Natalie & Delaney
Frolicking Through the Loess Hills with Delaney + Natalie | Iowa Portrait Session
When your college bestie reaches out for a photo session with her cousin, you know it’s going to be something special.
Delaney and Natalie met me out at the stunning Hitchcock Nature Center in the Loess Hills of Iowa—a location that never disappoints. Even though the skies were gray and the bugs were determined, we leaned into the moody, earthy vibes of the day and made magic happen.
These two were so much fun to work with. We wandered through tall grass, found hidden trails, and laughed way too hard trying to avoid mosquito ambushes. The clouds created the dreamiest soft light, and the rolling hills made the perfect backdrop for their joyful energy and sweet connection.
This session was the perfect mix of laid-back, adventurous, and heartfelt—basically everything I love about photographing people who trust me to capture them just as they are.
Scroll down for some of my favorite moments from this cozy, carefree session in the Loess Hills.
