Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice | 🍂📸
Next up is Meredith — again! I absolutely love doing photos with her. She’s such a gem and truly one of my favorite people to shoot with. Not only does she have an amazing sense of style, but she also brings the best energy to every session. She makes my job so easy!
For this shoot, Meredith reached out wanting to capture some cozy fall vibes with the colorful leaves. We decided on Elmwood Park, and it ended up being the perfect choice. The weather was beautiful, the light was golden, and the evening couldn’t have been more fun.
We laughed, giggled, and frolicked our way through the whole session — honestly, it felt more like a hangout than work (which is always the best kind of shoot!). This session made me fall in love with fall photos all over again. 🍁

Royal Senior | At the Castle 👑✨
Next up is Marissa! I absolutely loved this senior session — it was full of style, creativity, and sweet personal touches. Marissa and her mom came prepared with such a beautiful vision, and we had the best time bringing it to life.
We started the session at Joslyn Castle, where Marissa looked like royalty. She even wore her mother’s wedding dress for part of the shoot — how special is that? It added such a sentimental and elegant touch to the day.
We then explored the stunning greenery at the OPPD Arboretum and wrapped up near a peaceful lake in the Regency area. Marissa’s long curly hair, natural confidence, and eye for style made her such a dream to photograph. These are truly some of my favorite senior photos to look back on. 💫
Grace & Meredith
Winter Wishes | Bestie Session | Standing Bear Lake ✨
Next up is Meredith and her sweet friend Grace! This session took place in February — but you’d never guess it, because the weather was perfect for a photoshoot. The girls showed up in the cutest outfits that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of Standing Bear Lake.
We caught golden hour at just the right moment, and the light was absolutely dreamy. I first met Meredith at the Newman Center, and over time, she’s become not only a long-time friend but also one of my biggest supporters. We've done so many shoots together, and each one is better than the last!
This session was filled with laughter, jokes, and plenty of frolicking (our favorite!). We wrapped up the evening by the dock with the golden light shimmering off the water — such a perfect ending. I can’t wait to get these two in front of my camera again soon. 💛
Rachel & Bailey
Bailey & Rachel | Fall Cousin Session | Elmwood Park 🍂
Next up is Bailey and Rachel! I met Rachel through a mutual friend at the Newman Center, and she’s truly one of the sweetest people I’ve had the chance to work with — not to mention, a total natural in front of the camera!
She brought her cousin Bailey along for a cozy fall photo session at Elmwood Park, and these two made it such a fun shoot. I loved their coordinating sweaters, the colorful leaves on the ground, and the soft golden light filtering through the trees.
Fall sessions have my heart, and this one was no exception! 🧡
Delaney & Daisy
Bestie Session | Downtown Omaha ☀️
This session was such a blast! Delaney and her best friend Daisy met me downtown on a hot summer evening, and despite the heat, we had so much fun. The bright colors they wore perfectly matched their vibrant energy — we frolicked, giggled, and soaked up every last bit of sunshine (even though the sun had us racing against time).
I always have the best time photographing friends, and this session reminded me just how special it is to capture the joy between people who love each other so deeply. 💛
Spitsnogle family
The Spitsnogle Family | Fall Family Fun 🍂
I’ve known Missy since I was little — she’s been doing my mom’s hair for years and has worked her magic on mine more than a few times too! She’s always been the sweetest, so when she asked me to photograph her family, I was honored to be part of something so special.
Her parents and sister joined in for the session, and we caught the most beautiful golden hour light at Pioneers Park Nature Center in Lincoln. The park was bustling that evening, but we found the perfect little pocket of peace to capture these moments.
For those who know me, I don’t do families super often — but this session reminded me how much joy they can bring. From the perfectly coordinated outfits to the laughter and genuine smiles, this one was such a treat to capture.
Jacob & Tais
Tais + Jacob | Engagement Session | Golden Hour, Golden Engagement ☀️
Next up on the blog is my sweet friend Tais—someone who holds such a special place in my heart. We met junior year of college while in the Radiologic Technology program at Nebraska Methodist, and from day one, I knew she was one of those rare souls you feel instantly at ease with. She’s genuine, kind, and has been one of my closest friends ever since. We’ve stayed in touch through the years—even traveled to a Vegas program together last year!
When she reached out to have me photograph her engagement session with Jacob, I was so excited and honored. We chose Hitchcock Nature Center in the Loess Hills for their session, and wow—despite it being one of the hottest and sweatiest days ever (seriously, we were melting), these photos turned out to be some of my all-time favorites.
Their love was so easy to capture—it’s in the way they laugh together, the way they look at each other, and the way they just fit. I loved every minute of that golden evening with them (even the uphill hike!). So much so that I ended up photographing their wedding ceremony later that year. 🥹
This session will always be a favorite memory for me—not just because of the photos, but because of the people. Love you, Tais!
Gianna
SENIOR 2025 | OMAHA + LOESS HILLS GOLDEN SESSION 🏞️
Okay… I have to say it—Gianna’s session is easily one of my absolute favorites to date. She came all the way from Illinois to Nebraska for her senior photos (!!!) and brought the cutest outfits, a creative vision, and the kind of joyful energy that makes a photographer’s job feel like a dream. 💫
We kicked things off at Chalco Hills near the lake where she wore a sweet white romper that felt light, fresh, and soperfectly senior-summer. From there, we headed downtown to the iconic Flat Iron Hotel—hands down one of the most unique buildings in Omaha. Her sleek black dress paired beautifully with the architecture, giving off editorial vibes that I’m still obsessed with.
Finally, we crossed the river into Iowa to wrap up the night at Hitchcock Nature Center in the Loess Hills. Even though it was a cloudy evening, the views were breathtaking. Her flowy orange dress popped against the muted tones of the hills and created some of the most ethereal shots I’ve taken.
Gianna—you brought style, grace, and so much fun to this session. I still scroll through your gallery and swoon. Senior sessions like this one remind me just how much I love what I do. 💛
Emma
EMMA’S NURSING SCHOOL GRAD SESSION | DOWNTOWN OMAHA CELEBRATION 🥳
From UNK sorority sisters to graduation day memories—Emma’s session was such a full-circle moment for me! I met Emma during our sophomore year of college at the University of Nebraska Kearney. She was one of the first friends I made in my sorority, and I’ve adored her sweet, stylish energy ever since. So when she reached out to have me capture her nursing school graduation photos, I couldn’t say “yes” fast enough!
We met up at the Douglas County Courthouse in downtown Omaha, where Emma brought her signature style, a killer smile, and her best friend Jessica for support (and hype). The whole session was a blast—we laughed, twirled around the columns, and popped champagne to celebrate her huge accomplishment.
Emma, you are going to do amazing things in this next chapter, and I’m so grateful I got to celebrate this milestone with you. Nurses like you are truly something special!
Content Day at Commonspace Studio 📸
This past content day at Commonspace Studio in Lincoln, NE was exactly what my creative heart needed! A group of talented local photographers (myself included!) gathered together to photograph some absolutely stunning models in a dreamy indoor space filled with natural light and endless photo ops.
What made this day so special wasn’t just the beautiful photos we got to take—it was the energy in the room. No pressure, no expectations, just creatives coming together to experiment, share ideas, and have fun. Getting to connect with other photographers in the area was such a refreshing reminder of the amazing community we’re part of.
This won’t be my last content day—that’s for sure. Already counting down to the next one!
Brady
Downtown Vibes + Track Pride | Brady’s Senior 2025 Session
Brady was such a blast to work with — not only was he my only boy senior this year, but he brought his A-game and wasn’t afraid to get creative! He’s the younger brother of one of my best friends from college, which made this session even more special.
We kicked things off on the rooftop of a downtown Omaha parking garage, capturing some bold shots with the skyline and even his track uniform (shoutout to a true student athlete!). After that, we made our way to the Douglas County Courthouse, where he suited up — literally — and nailed a sharp, professional look.
Brady may be from small-town Holdrege, but he’s headed for big things with UNO in his future and a degree in Business on the horizon. I’m so proud of how this session turned out and even more excited to see where life takes him next!
Natalia
Class of 2025 | Lutheran High School 🏫
Natalia’s session was such a dream. ✨ From the moment we met downtown with her stunning bouquet of flowers, I knew this was going to be something special.
We explored so many sides of Omaha — from the city textures to wide open skies. First stop: the charming urban corners of downtown, where she brought the most gorgeous blooms that added so much color and personality. Next, we made our way up to a rooftop garage for that perfect skyline backdrop — breezy, golden, effortlessly cool. And then… Chalco Hills. 🌾🌅 As the sun dipped low, the fields lit up with magic. Natalia glowed.
What I loved most? She brought her. Her creativity, her vision, her style — and it made every moment feel like her storyin the making.
Natalia, thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful chapter. You’re graceful, artistic, and full of light — I can’t wait to see all the beauty you bring into the world next. 💙🎓

Golden Hour Magic with Brie | Bennington High Senior Session 🌅
Brie was an absolute joy to photograph! A 2025 senior from Bennington High School, she brought such a fun, radiant energy to her session — plus a full cheer squad (aka, her awesome parents) to hype her up along the way.
We kicked off her session in downtown Omaha, where she totally rocked an urban vibe — confident, stylish, and glowing with senior-year excitement. After capturing some city magic, we made our way to Chalco Hills where we were blessedwith the most dreamy golden hour light. The session wrapped up perfectly on the dock by the lake, with the soft evening sun reflecting on the water — truly a golden ending to a golden session.

Frolicking Through the Loess Hills with Delaney + Natalie | Iowa Portrait Session
When your college bestie reaches out for a photo session with her cousin, you know it’s going to be something special.
Delaney and Natalie met me out at the stunning Hitchcock Nature Center in the Loess Hills of Iowa—a location that never disappoints. Even though the skies were gray and the bugs were determined, we leaned into the moody, earthy vibes of the day and made magic happen.
These two were so much fun to work with. We wandered through tall grass, found hidden trails, and laughed way too hard trying to avoid mosquito ambushes. The clouds created the dreamiest soft light, and the rolling hills made the perfect backdrop for their joyful energy and sweet connection.
This session was the perfect mix of laid-back, adventurous, and heartfelt—basically everything I love about photographing people who trust me to capture them just as they are.

Say hello to Litzey, a rockstar senior from Millard West’s Class of 2025! 🎓
Litzey is the kind of girl who does it all—student athlete, cross country state runner-up, and total creative soul. Her session was packed with personality and style, and I loved every second of capturing it!
We kicked things off downtown where she showed off her edgy side—posing like a total natural on top of a rooftop parking garage, next to a sleek black car, and rocking her shades. Talk about senior session goals. 😎 The city skyline made the perfect backdrop for her confidence and cool vibe.
Then we traded the city for nature and headed to Chalco Hills just in time for golden hour. The warm light, soft breeze, and peaceful setting were the perfect way to end the evening. From urban boldness to nature’s calm, this session showed the many sides of who Litzey is—and I’m so honored I got to document this chapter of her life.

This one is extra special to me. ✨
Hannah has been my best friend since grade school. Watching her grow with Colton, her high school sweetheart (they met senior year!), has been such a joy.
These two got engaged on the beach in sunny Florida (can we talk about dreamy?!) and I was lucky enough to capture their engagement session back home at Pioneers Park in Lincoln. The weather had us guessing all day—clouds loomed, and we weren’t sure if the light would show. But right when we needed it… golden hour appeared, wrapping them in the most magical glow. ✨
The session was full of laughter, soft kisses, and golden warmth. You can feel how much these two truly love each other in every photo. It was an honor to be behind the camera for such a meaningful moment for one of my favorite people.
